Experience the magic of monsoon with a trek amidst the verdant hills and cascading waterfalls
The meeting point for the trekkers will be at the Wildvoyages office at 7:00 am sharp. The trekkers will then start the journey towards Shendwad which will be the base camp. The duration of this journey would be covered in 3.5 hours. The group will stop enroute for breakfast at Vanasda. After arriving at the base camp, the trekkers will get time to freshen up followed by which the team orientation and briefing will begin. The trekkers will then begin their Trek towards Bhavanigadh. The Bhavanigadh trek falls in the Sahyadri mountain range. This trek offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The trek is steep and little challenging to climb at first, but it gets easier eventually. The trek uphill takes about 3 hours to complete in total, but the descent is really quick and simple and takes only 1.5 hours. Monsoon will not only add beauty to the lush green hills, but the trekkers will also get a chance to see a lot of biodiversity. Keep your cameras ready for some great amphibians and reptiles that you might be able to see on the trek. The hills are also covered with a beautiful carpet of flowers. The trekkers shall reach the base camp by evening, have dinner at Vansda and will prepare to drive back to the Wildvoyages office. The tour ends here and the trekkers take back an unforgettable experience and loads of memories back with them.
