Once you book your trek with us, we'll add you to our community WhatsApp group for a pre-trekking briefing, allowing you to connect with fellow trekkers. Additionally, for your safety and privacy, you'll share a tent with another woman, and we also provide separate toilets for men and women.

Why do I have to register the trek so much in advance?

Register for your trek up to a month or a week in advance. This lets you receive a pre-trek briefing, ensuring a seamless trekking experience.

I am obese, and my BMI is high. Can I trek with you?

You're welcome to join, but it's essential to ensure you're physically prepared for the trek. If you have a high BMI and it's your first trek or need a consistent workout routine, we suggest beginning with an easy to moderate trek. These treks feature gradual ascents and descents, minimizing strain on your body.

Can I join your group as a solo?

Of course you can! Whether you're a solo trekker (male or female), a group of friends, or a family with kids, all are welcome to join the treks of Wildvoyages.

Why is fitness so important?

 Your trek experience depends on your fitness level. When you're not fit:

What are toilets like? I'm worried?

The Wildvoyages base camp has two well-maintained washroom tents for your convenience.

I am a senior citizen over 55 years old. Can I trek?

You can enjoy trekking if you maintain an active lifestyle, such as brisk walking 4-5 times a week, cycling, or practising yoga. We recommend starting easy day treks near your home before attempting longer treks.

What is a family trek?

A family trek is a hiking expedition specifically designed for families. These treks are tailored to accommodate individuals of various ages, including children, and are generally of easy to moderate difficulty level. Family treks allow parents and children to bond, explore nature, and engage in outdoor activities while enjoying scenic landscapes and cultural experiences.

How challenging is the family trek for my child?

Our Family treks are of east to moderate difficulty. We assess these treks considering factors such as altitude gained, distance covered, elevation gained, and daily terrain. On average, you and your child can expect to walk for 5-6 hours each day during the trek.

I have never trekked before. Do I need previous trekking experience to trek with Wildvoyages?

Previous trekking experience is not required to trek with Wildvoyages. Our treks are designed for people of all experience levels, including beginners. Our trek leaders will provide guidance and support to ensure that even if it's your first time trekking, you'll have a safe and enjoyable experience. The best time to enjoy winter snow is generally from December to February.

Where will I find an ATM?

Once you reach the base camp, you cannot withdraw money. So, plan your financial expenditure accordingly.

Will there be any mobile network on the trek?

Generally, you will not get a good network signal. On the trail, you might have intermittent mobile networks on the first and last day of the trek. You will get network coverage at the base camp if the weather conditions are good.

I am more than 58 Years old. Is it safe for me to trek?
